My tab jams if there is no internet connection can anyone help please?

Hi all,
If my tab has no internet connection the screen will be 90% irresponsive and very hard to unlock the screen or Access anything and if I succseed in unlocking the screen, I can't accsess any app , page or anything as if it's jammed. But if it catches an internet connection, everything is back to normal. Any idea why my tab is behaving this way and what can I do?
It's a Huawei media pad M3

If we were talking about a PC, I would say that it was infected with a poorly designed virus that was communicating over the Internet and was too stupid to hide itself/go to sleep in the absence of a working connection.

Another option might be a poorly designed game or other app with the same affliction.

That shouldn't happened at all. Dies this happen even after restarting your phone ?
