my tb isn't connecting to my computer

whenever i try to connect my phone to my computer it says connection failed... can someone help??

-Reboot computer (you've probably done this)
-Reboot phone (you've probably done this)
-Try another USB port
-Try another USB cable
-You might want to uninstall HTC Sync and install the newest version:
