My thunderbolt just shuts off by itself

Thanks for your help. I see now i missed that link in your previous post. I'm sure it is a great solution for users with the tech savvy to understand the installation process and what to expect it to do to their phones. From what I've read it's way beyond me.

I've only had a few reboots, but i've had random shutdowns on my original and both of my replacement Thunderbolts. I can ask for a replacement, and I'm sure they'd send it to me, I'm just not sure if it'd make any difference. FYI, my 2nd replacement was a new phone in clnr wrapping.

Went to beach today. Very weak 3g signal there. Sure enough the pbone shut off. I think shut offs on my phone are always due to weak 3g/1g signal. I wonder if this is something software CAN fix?

It sure is, its called the MR2 update or wait for the official OTA update that is coming "soon".
