My vibrate motor stopped working

I think it's a software issue, but all the sudden the vibrate motor only works 1 in 50 times. Are there any apps known to do this or is anyone else experiencing this?

Did this start happening after you installed an app, service or changed a setting?

Factory reset (backup before hand) and see if it works properly. If not, then it definitely sounds like a hardware problem, which is not unheard of, but doesn't happen very frequently.

I actually factory reset yesterday and it still doesn't work
