Myn?s Warm TwoPointTwo-RLS 5 - Browser help

Hi, i running twopointtwo rls5
I love this rom, only thing is my browers always stalls at about 80-90% done. the page loads eventually but takes way to long. 4g and 3g strenth are full. It even does this when im on wifi.

Is there a fix or anythign im missing????

You may have an old Hosts file that blocks ads. To update the hosts file (or to disable ad blocking) you could download AdFree from the market and update or revert the hosts file.

I have issues on every ROM browsing on 4G with any hosts file (which is a fairly well known, but strange, problem), so I have to revert the hosts file while browsing on 4G.

You could also try the browser slowness fix posted on the RLS5 XDA page. It looks like this fixes the hosts file as well, but I cannot speak from experience.

i have tried to install the •RLS5 Browser slowness fix
but i get an error something about clockwork recovery ??? , i did the addfree and revert and it seems to work

I've also flashed a different kernel and over clocked it. Now it's just stupid fast.

it helps the browser slowness. you should be fine after you flash that

What does this do?

It updates the adhosts file. Myn's has something that will allow you to be adfree for the browser. It's actually stalling with an old adhosts (a file with a list of hosts that give you ads). Updating the adhosts file is what you want to do.
