N1 and Ebay

I've seen on Ebay that there are N1's selling for like $600 unlocked. Why are people bidding on this when you can just buy it unlocked from Google for cheaper?!?

Am i missing something? What is the benefit of getting it from ebay?

People in other countries can't buy them from Google, so they look on Ebay and willing to pay more than retail.

Knowing ebay, and trying to buy a BB 8900 from there last year, I going to guess that those prices will not lower for another 3-4 months.
