What battery life are you getting out of your Nexus 10? After 4 hours of close to consistent use (web browsing on Chrome), I am at 40% or less. Is this pretty much normal? My brightness is set at roughly 60%. I have also disable background sync in Currents to help with battery life.

I get about 8 hours of screen time on mine, then I'm at about 15% battery life. That is with social media, YouTube, streaming music, web browsing & texting/calls with Tablet Talk.

It is all about the brightness setting. Anecdotally the people I see with longer battery life have this setting cranked down. I wonder if it is just us northeners who, lacking sunlight due to winter, dont need that much backlight?

I use auto backlight setting. Allot has to do with what you have running in the background, your update settings & number of widgets that are receiving updates.

Pretty much stripped down setup with the display settings a bit above half. Anything less is not desirable for my wife's viewing and frankly defeats the purpose when I have to strain to see something to get the battery life seen on many, if not all, other devices. My brother's N10 gets twice the life with the same setup and settings. This pretty much sealed the deal on knowing something is wrong.
