Naked or case?

Cases, not for me. I prefer skins and/or sleeves.
I always found it funny how people always talk about how slim phones are.
How one phone is slimmer then another one and they want slimmer devices.......
Then they throw it into a thick ass otterbox or something.... o_O?

Just as funny as those that don't want to buy a phone because it's "ugly" and they want a better sleek and sexy looking phone....
So they can put it into a case so you cant see the design of the phone anyways.... o_O?

Got Rezound. Got VZW black plasticy case for std battery. Works OK in pocket. Added extended battery. Got VZW mega-base + belt clip for that. Works in pocket, too.

Should I get an Otterbox and "go pro" or just carry the 2 batteries and 2 cases?

Got VZW screen protector applied by helpful Sales Dude at store and it works fine. Have loved Zaggs and others, but this works. Do I have to peel it off to go Otterbox?

Yikes - why aren't these all simply billet aluminum like Harley accessories?

I went for the Verizon black case. This surprised me because I generally don't like the store cases. They said I could return in in 14 days if I did not like it. Personally I have found I like the case quite a bit. I generally don't drop my phone, but I have once in a while and my case has saved me several times.

A friend of mine has a 4s - I know all glass phones should be kept it cases - he took it out to clean it and decided he did not like his case. You guessed it, 4 hours later he had a shattered screen. Personally I still can't figure out who thought it would be a cool idea to make a phone all glass and then top it off make it very expensive to fix when it breaks.

Case d efinetly. Dropped phone, shattered screen. Still works though.

When i receive the replacement, ill be using a bad ass case.

Ok so I've had it naked for a little while now. And last night I was hanging out with friends at a bar. One of my friends was hammered and took my phone to show someone. The only thing I could think was "don't drop it in the beer".

Now I'm using the case out of sheer fear.

I work outside in cold, wind, rain and snow and need my phone easily accessible. I ordered an Otterbox Defender and Skinomi screen protector not knowing the Otterbox came with a screen protector. Thinking I can't have enough protection I put on the screen protector and the case. Everything works fine, no issues with the touchscreen. And I have that feeling of a little extra protection.

Only case i'd get is a barely there case. Or something similar. I won't be dropping this thing off a roof. No need for otterbox bulk lol

I do have a pouch case. Yea, there still sylish if you can pull it off lol

I have had the case on the phone all day. And while I am not worried about it being scratched, I am really getting annoyed at the amount of dust that gets stuck on the screen because of the case. That alone is making me want to take the case off. And just use the case when I go to the bar.

The Rezound is the first phone I didn't get insurance on. I just realized the whole time I've had expensive smartphones, I've never dropped my phone. Not even once. I've always been afraid to, but I havent. My girlfriend and her slippery fingers makes holding a phone look hard.

It's cheaper to invest in a good case and just be careful. I'm naked at home and protected when I leave the house

I usually prefer seidio but once i went with the extended on my Inc I realized case options were extremely limited.

That said I love my precious and even though I have the extended battery AND the case for it from here but not sure if I will use it or not.... gonna give the case a shot tomorrow I guess.

Wish there were more options for us extended battery users

Has anybody come across a thin, soft, and non-slippery silicone back cover? I got a carbon back cover from Skinomi which is very thin, but quite a bit more slippery that the back of the original phone.

You feel like the Rezound is too plasticky? I gotta disagree with you on this point. If you hold Samsung phones, like the Charge or the Fascinate, you'll definitely feel like they're all plastic.
I think the Rezound's back material and matte style finish make it feel a little more durable than others. Moto and HTC make solid-feeling phones, imo.

I agree. Just got the Rezound today and it feels very solid to me. I know it will hold up better than the iPhone 4 that I had if I accidentally drop it.

I picked up the Black soft "silicone cover" from Verizon today. It's thin and doesn't add too much extra bulk to the device. Doesn't seem slippery to me. It does slide in and out of my pocket easily. I like the fact that it doesn't collect lint like some silicone cases.

my wife knows someone who walked out of the store, dropped and broke her new phone, so for her new Rezound, a Bullfrog case got purchased @ the same time as the phone. Especially since she works with kids with Aspergers. Better safe than sorry. :D

No phone condoms. Those are for iPhone to protect their precious antennas :D
