Naked or case?

Love Android Central!!! Won't be back at the others. They won't let you joke at all. :'(

I have always used a case with past and present smartphones. I held onto my Dinc until this phone was out~considered the iPhone 4 and 4S, but hated the glass back design~if I want a work of art, I'll go see it in a museum, not carry the fragile double glass sided thing around with me 24/7. Compared to the iPhone, the Rezound seems built well, but I still have it cased. Call me paranoid and practical. I tend to favor high-quality TPU cases, and currently have the Verizon silicone cases (in 3 colors) for my baby. As I haven't found a holster I like yet, I have it in a leather pouch with a rotating clip that I got from Amazon that fits it like a glove. Otterbox seems like over-kill, and I know I wouldn't like the screen protector. I am waiting for Seidio to make the Surface case/holster for the Rezound, which should be available soon.

I have as many cases as my wife has purses! Meaning I love my phone, and it cost a lot of sweat. Protect that Schmidt!!!

I think if you're careful you don't need a case. But it does make it so you worry less. It comes down to preference really. Cuz I personally can't stand having a case on my phone. And would rather deal with scratches on the back than have all the dust get caked on around the edges of the screen

I disagree ;), they all have their strengths and weaknesses :)

Very disappointed with Skinomi. Finally got down to installing their carbon back cover, which took them almost three weeks to get to me, only to find out that all cutouts are in wrong places. Apparently, they sent a kit for the wrong phone, even though the paperwork clearly mentions Rezound.

Only way I am gonna use a screenie is if SGP makes a CC.....

I always greatly prefer how a "naked" phone feels, so don't use cases or screen protectors (which I particularly hate.) I've never had a device completely shatter despite the occasional drop or cat induced tumble. Yes I usually end up with a slight scratch or two over the course of the year but never enough to truly bother me.

I paid full price for the Rezound because my Thunderbolt just wore away my last good nerve, but the upside is I'll be eligible for an upgrade next November so I won't have to worry about having this for longer than that. (And, no matter how much I love my Rezound now, I know there will be something a year from now that will cry out to be purchased.) So, definitely naked here.

I must not be right in the head, having ordered $60 worth of various cases. And, when they all come in, I'll examine each, and may send them all back. :D

no case, but i have ghost armor installed on the screen.

i had a basic gel case on my Dinc, and it was perfect. but when i put the GA on it, the case made the edges peel up. so i stopped using one. never a drop. im too damn careful with these things.

with this one, any case makes it just too big and i fumble with it. i know it doesnt add much, but chalk it up to small hands i guess. it just feels perfect as is with the rubber backing. it stays in my pocket on vibe 99% of the time anyways since im not supposed to have it on me at work (shhhh!).

Agree. Feels much better naked. I asked my friend who was trying to convince me to use a case why its so important, since he he didn't use a case on his incredible 2. He said cuz its worth protecting. Then he said if the $99 deductible wasn't a problem for him he would go without a case.

My thoughts exactly

I will probably get a case eventually...I only buy Otterbox now. Had one on my Droid 1 and just loved it. Best cases I have ever had.

They look cool and fit very well.

It depends on which one you get. The one I got was bulky (Commuter), but there are other versions that are a lot thinner.

100% Naked. I tried using cases on past phones and I just didn't like them. I expecially don't like the lint and dust that accumulates around the edge of the cases.

I have always, always kept my phones in cases. Why? The minute you don't have a case on it is when you're gonna drop it or something.

I am patiently waiting for my case to come from eBay.

My problem is not that I don't want to get a case but the moment I do, my phone will crap out on me. It's happened twice before. That's why I held off getting a case for my Bionic but issues with the phone caused me to demand VZ give me a different model. So here I am, day 2 with my Rezound and fingers crossed.
