Naked?

The case doesn't come close to the screen. How are you afraid it will scratch it? Seems like a screen protector is the only way for that. I don't worry because gorilla glass is pretty damn awesome.

The case won't scratch it but rather other elements. Sorry if I wasn't clear in that haha.

Gotcha! I just don't worry about mine too much. Gorilla Glass is REALLY resilient stuff. I just can't stand the screen protectors. It seems like they always make the screen feel "gummy" and you can't glide your finger.

I haven't met a screen protector I've liked the feel of.

I do have four Gel TPU cases I bought off ebay for like $8 when I first got the phone. I was in new phone mode at the time. Though they do fit well and easily slip on and off, it's amazing how much weight they add to the phone. Now I only use them when I go camping with the family...otherwise they sit in a drawer. Did not order any screen protectors though...my Droid X gave me all the faith in Gorilla Glass I needed...sold it with the screen good as new.

I was jaded by the Palm Pre 2. It suppose ably, had gorilla glass, and my pocket lint put a 1/32 inch scratch all the way down the screen. Now whether it was real gorilla glass or not I don't know, but i trust a screen protector, and not glass of any sort.

Just got my androidified Cruzerlite! That's really a nice case. I got it in smoke, which is grey tinted and transparent. Very cool, fits well, and is good and grippy. It's no Otterbox Defender, so I will try not to drop the phone. Since the grip is so good, that's at least a little less likely. And I can see my phone :)

Nice, I was torn between the smoke and the green, so I took a poll of a few people here at the office and they liked the green one so I went with that since I couldn't decide between the two. :)

And as soon as I saw that green one I wanted it! Also nice :p

Glad I could help. I usually don't put review up unless I'm REALLY stoked about something. I really love my Cruzerlite and think the green really sets it off nicely. As soon as I saw the android on the back of the case, I knew that was the case for me. Glad everyone that got one likes theirs too!

Cruzerlite case users UNITE! :)

It kind of beats the razor thin design but I have the Otter box defender. For whatever reason I am prone to dropping my phone? Better safe than sorry. I do not mind the bulk of the case. The only thing that I do grow irritated with is due to the grip material, I can't slide that phone in any pocket with ease. If that is an issue for anyone else, I would recommend the commuter possibly.

I love my defender I did take the screen protector off and put one on that sticks the screen.

I've tried defenders They are awesome. But hideous. I had on one my iPhone 4 which, however you feel about it, is a very nice post modern piece of industrial art. I had one on the Maxx - ugh. I think Maxx is a beauty and I want to see it.

Blackberries had a place to install a wrist strap and sold one for a few bucks. Is there something that you can use with the Maxx? I'd feel a lot more secure with one.

I had that case and gladly gave it away. Too slippery in my hand. . The Android Man is glossy and has less grip. This would be okay if the sides provided extra grip (like my Cimo S-Line TPU case). But the sides of this case are also glossy and provide no real friction or grip, despite the "Ribbed for her pleasure" type of indentations on the sides. Too bad since I like the look of it. But in the end grip is paramount for any Razr case that I use. I find the Razr and Razr Maxx are thin relative to their large footprints and there is not a lot of contact with the palm of your hand when you hold it. The only real place to grip the phone is on the sides.

Certain cases have a small slot built in to them to allow you to install a wrist strap.

i just cannot bring myself to get one. happy it has saved yours though!

now this on the other hand... Ask Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX Skin - Covers Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX for custom style and protection!

Like it, but one things for sure: It'd be easier to spot. LOL.

I will say that a few days ago, I replaced my Zagg shield and I left the cover off just to let it 'set' good around the edges...since the last one peeled up at the volume and power buttons. I thought it might have squeezed the edges up.
Anyways...it sure feels good without a cover. Slicker, cooler feel...downright sexy. :)
And for this reason, I don't have one on it right now.
That said, just a few days ago, I dropped it RIGHT from my 6'4 height on the top corner edge.
So, as we speak, I'm covering him back up. That woulda shattered it. I have one of those Ebay gelcoat things. Seems to work great.
