Name on text message does not match contact

I use the Outlook app to synch my work Outlook contacts to my LG G6. Recently I did a clean up. I deleted all my phone resident contacts and added them to Outlook so all my phone contacts have one source, my work Outlook. It worked great except when I text my best friend whose contact has her first and last name the name that appears on the text says "Maru" her name is Mary. I tried deleting and re-adding a new work Outlook contact, uninstalled/re-installed the Outlook app on my phone, and resynched the contacts to my phone. When I text her it still does not display her first and last name as in the newly re-added contact. This is the only contact behaving this way. What else can I do to correct this anomaly?
