Native email app crashes when opening attachment

Recently when I try and open any attachment in mail I see the attachment download to 99% and then the mail app crashes. Attachment will open immediately when tried again but this is a pain. Have deleted all accounts, resets etc but no luck. Any ideas?

Resets of accounts or the phone? You could try a factory restore the phone to see if helps the issue? Also is it only one file or all the files do that?

Also, what device and email app are you using? Have you already tried using a different email app?

Having this issue with Galaxy S7 - Nougat. Even phone reset does not help at all. Samsung support also does not help as always.
