Navigation is messed up. Location is inaccurate and spotty

Why aren't more people complaining about this?!?! I tried the GPS status app and it seemed to help a little, but with the phone sitting on my desk, it shows my location moving all over the place when the phone is stationary. I have the phones location set to the highest accuracy and it still moves. Cleared my cache, and all settings, and it still does it.

Edit: I just reread some posts above and saw someone mentioned having a case with a magnetic close front. I have that case on my phone and just took it off. My location is more stable now.. Not sure if it's perfect but its better.

I've seen magnetic closure cases affect the sensors of my S7E and my iPad Air 2 and Nexus 7 tablets (which makes perfect sense). Moving a case with a magnet in it near my watch which has a compass or one of my Garmin GPS units will affect them, also (some more than others).

The case isn't the issue for me. I just use one of those very minimalist Samsung leather cases, that only covers the back and sides.

Samsung/Google need to fix this problem! It's a big deal

I have had the same problem since last Tuesday. Tried restart, figure-8 calibration. Settings were already for high accuracy. Thought it was temporary glitch, but it has occurred again every day. Sometimes it will jump 3 miles away, then wander back to my true location. My husband has Note 5, no issues.

Today, Number 1 son stops by and mentions that he was led a merry chase while traveling last week. So this has happened Washington, Baltimore and Richmond.

We both sent error reports to Google maps through the app, but expect no results.
Rrrrrrr.
No magnet holders, right?

I'd say more so Samsung. On my Pixel XL my GPS has zero issues pinpointing me and tracking when using navigation.
