Navigation speech issues

So I updated my Google Maps app and should have speech navigation. However when I use my navigation app the speech function does not work. I check my navigation volume and it is at full, I tried to see if I need a text to speech app and that didn't work. I don't know what else to try. Can anyone help?

Did you install the TTS, and all it's required libraries from the market?
