need assistance with 900F

Hello everyone. I need some assistance. I purchased sn SM-G900F private party to replace An S4 with the unattached SIM issue. So I put my SIM in the S5 before purchase and it functioned. Now it will not. I checked the version for the ROM on the phone and it was for a SM-G9006V. I think that may be the problem, but I'm not sure. This is my first time purchasing an unlocked phone, so I'm looking for a little assistance from more knowledgeable people. I'm trtrying to get on an AT&T network in Indiana. The S5 recognizes the SIM, knows the number and that its AT&T. Even allows me to pick that as a data network, but won't connect. Everything else works great. So, what say yee S5 gurus? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might have to alter the data settings in Settings>mobile Devices. But to what I am not sure.
