Need Help 5 beeps and green blinking light

OK. Im new to android centrals forums and i have read alot of articles trying to fix my screwup. Hopefully someone can help. I was once rooted and i had redemption rom on and i tried to install cm30 nightly and got stuck somewhere and started to try to do wipe and clean amopngst other things and almost bricked it totally.The main thing that happens is when i press power i get 5 vibrate beeps and a blinking green light. i can go to hboot by pressing power and down but i cant go into recovery. Among other things i can plug usb and shows hboot usb but computer only shows android boot loader under device manager.

Now here's where it gets even weirder. I tried to install the pb113img.zip. when i did everything said ok while installing and when i got the choice to reboot it went to a green recycle looking thing then it went to a blank screen and 3 beeps with green blinking light.

I went into fastboot and hit reboot and it did boot into the stock 2.2 rom but if i disconnect a usb cord or when plugged into the wall the phone dies and goes to the blank screen with 5 beeps and blinking lights.

while in hboot the recovery choice is not working and neither is factory reset.
I hit fastboot the choice for bootloader takes me back to hboot.

Now while the usb plug is in the hboot says hboot usb but when i did get it to boot and plugged the usb in it doesnt show on my computer it does however show android bootloader interface on my device manager. Also the sdcard will not read on the phone but the sd card will read in a sdcard adpater where i can transfer files.

I was rooted once before not sure if i still am but being the s-on and not s-off i might not be rooted anymore

I read alot of your post up and i believe im unrooted because i used a ruu pb113img.zipbfrom a guy named doug in one of the forums and loaded it using hboot but im not sure if it installed entirely but i couldnt install the install.zip it wouldnt read it. i did however got it to reboot in fastboot and it went to the stock rom and it asked for reprogramming and i did that then it downloaded the ota . but it will only stay on with a usb plugged in or pluuged into the wall as soo as i release the usb cord it turns off

when im in hboot it doesnt give me a error and when i go into recovery . it first went into the green circle download sign and wouldnt load the files then it shut down and give me's me 5 beeps and green blinking light.. Now when i go to recovery it just shuts down and gives the 5 beeps and green blinking light. I had someone over at xda tell me since it can go to a froyo stock rom with the s-off just takeit back to verizon.the only way i can get it to go into the os is by going through fast boot then reboot with the usb plugged into either the computer or the wall

when i use the usb cable hboot says hboot usb plug but when i go into pc the computer wont recoginze it and unrevoke 3 just says waiting.

ok so i try to apply your pb113img and its says update fail. i applied doug piston pb113img from another forum and when it applied it got to where i can power-on with a usb plugged into wall or computer . so i no longer have to go to fastboot then reboot to boot to o/s. Now when it is booted in the o/s it still wont recognize the usb or sd card. i applied the clockwork recovery from dougpiston.com where i found the pb11img file. when i did that i can now go into recovery from hboot but it is the factorey recovery.
i currently have s-on. so its seems to be semi stock . it wont allow me to run apps in o/s. so do you think i should go into the factory recovery and choose any options there..

cause originally i couldnt get into revcovery it was a blank screen after i applied his patch it now is a red triangle and exclamation so i pressed vol up and it got me to a factory recovery but i dont know what option to choose..

i had to go to work so didnt have time to play with it again . now t'twhen i try to install update.zip through factory recovery i get the followin error messages E: cant open / cache/recovery/command this is at the main recovery screen when i hit apply scard:update.zip i get this error message.
cant mount /dev/block/mmcblk1p1(or /devblock/mmcblk1(no such directory)
Sounds maybe a partition thing. I cant get adb to work right nor do i know how to use it SO i though maybe u could do a wipe/data factory reset or wipe cache partition. what do you think?

clockmod is black green letters if i remember correctly. This is black with blue letters.

the options are reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partiton


i do have my sdcard and on my computer my originally backup when i first rooted with unrevoke

i have 2 sdcard one with my original stuff and the other with the new stuff

I'm having this issue. flashed cyanogenmod 7 last weekend. did a nandroid backup before, wiped everyting. now the phone works only if I turn it on with USB cord in. if I turn it on without it goes to the black screen with 5 vibrations. external SD card isn't mounting, not even in recovery. is this something you could fix? I'd be willing to send you my phone.

Go to command prompt and try to list ADB devices and it never shows up. phone works somewhat but having no internal or external storage is a pain in the arse.

it's a bummer cause all I did was install cyanogenmod 7. I've flashed over a lot of different roms so it wasn't my first rodeo. as soon as I installed it I noticed the external SD card wasn't showing. I tried to reboot and that's when the vibration and green leds started. just bad luck for me.
