need help , gmail nor Syncing

Recently, I got two new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 cell phones for both me and my wife. I have noticed that I don't receive any notification fro Gmail for any new email although Notification option is enabled. This is not the case for other apps as I receive prompt notifications for Facebook, twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, .. etc. The same thing goes for my wife device. I tried to play with settings in the Gmail but couldn't find any setting to select how frequent to setup the push feature for emails that may play role in this problem

I found out the issue, you can't have Power Saver on !

My Gmail syncs fine with power saver on, has from day one a few weeks ago.

What degree of power-saving was on? Perhaps the syncing won't work in the most aggressive power-saving mode.

That's what I'm thinking, too.

FWIW, here is my power saver setting with Gmail sync working fine. It's mid power saver, customized.
