I got a couple movies for Xmas with digital copies and want to transfer to my Fascinate. I followed the directions that came with the movie and transferred to my PC just fine. I then transferred to my phone and thought I had it all good. When I tried to play them and error popped up saying that I can not play movie... Soon after a notification popped up on my status bar saying DRM Notification: Licensed required

I'm fairly new to this so have no idea what to do to be able to play my movie. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've gotten so much help on here!
Thanks in advance, Happy Holidays

I ran into the same problem with DRM stuff so i ended up having to RIP the movies.

I found this from another forum researching this for you .....

At present Android doesn't support any DRM that I am aware of. Linux itself is very limited in its support of DRM so it is likely that Android won't support any more than Linux does. There are converters available that will authorize the DRM stream and capture the output but they are illegal in the US.

I use DVDFab, but get something that will change the file to MP4. That can be played on your phone.

Thanks guys! I used Wondershare (free trial) and it worked great. Cause of the free trial there is a watermark but wanted to check it out before I purchase it. Gonna spend the rest of the day transferring movies to my phone now... Thanks again!

You're welcome. Its been a while since I converted something but I think the platinum edition rips to mp4 for android and has the settings for it. I'll double check if I get a chance. It was also one of the faster programs that I tested at converting speeds. It was twice as quick.
