Need help with audio file recovery

I have a Samsung note5. Using Android file transfer on mac - I accidentally dragged/deleted audio files .wav to trash - expecting it to be in the trash bin but it's not. need help to recover please can someone help.
I tried diskdigger-but only works with photos.
I tried Dr. Fone but does not have the audio option
I tried Undeleter - but only seems to scan image files
I also tried fonepaw but not successful after the scan
Also tried Audio recovery - was unsuccessful as algorithm scan did not produce the audio files i was hoping to recover
any more useful information? need help please

It is sad that these apps limit the file types they work with since undeleting a file is not dependent on the file type. A file is a file.

Every time you installed a new app, you increased the chances of the desired file being overwritten.
