Hi, I'm new to the android scene and am loving my Evo!
I read in one of the battery threads that a factory reset may improve battery life. So, I backed up my apps and data to back-up manager and did a reset. Now i'm not sure how to retrieve what i've backed up. I tried volume down, the power button and chose the "restore" option; but that just gave me a picture of my phone with some type of hazard sign on top of it.
If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. tia!

uhm i'm guessing your not rooted.

Try going back into your back up manager app, and looking for a restore there.

No, i'm not rooted. The problem is that there is no back up manager app to go to. Since I did the factory reset, all of my downloaded apps, including that one, are gone.

re-downlaod it from the market. Should have the option, though you may have to be rooted.

Yes! I think it may be working...if not, it's taking an awfully long time to download that app again. Thank you! :)
