Need help with backup

I just switched my bionic for a new one before I did I made a back up via CWM and saved it on my computer. I got the new bionic and rooted again downloaded Rom manager and the bootstrap. I went in to CWM recovery an attmepted to restore my backup from my original bionic. It rebooted and it was the same it didn't restore squat. I tried several times with the same results. The screen looks like this

This is word for word what the screen shows. Is it not posible to flash a backup from one bionic to another or am I doing something wrong. I really dont want to have to download all my apps again.

Try restoring data only

I restored data and it worked Im just wondering why it would not restore the system as well.
