Hi all,
I just got an xprt on Craigslist with a clean MEID DEC (according to checkesnfree.com). Anyway, the guy couldn't remember the unlock pattern and couldn't help further.
I've gathered that my only option, short of his google info, is to do a hard reset, which is fine since I don't need any of his stuff anyway. Right?
I've seen the hard reset instructions on many different sites:
Turn the power off. If your Motorola XPRT is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
Press and hold the Power and Camera buttons
Release the Camera button when prompted
Press and hold the Volume Down key
A yellow exclamation will appear on the display
Select the Wipe data/factory reset (Alt + W) option
When I do this, I never get a "prompt" to release the camera button, so I'm stuck. It just boots into the locked screen like normal.
1. Can anyone recommend something BESIDES a hard reset to reset the lock pattern?
2. Can anyone explain to me what the "prompt" is that is referred to in the instructions?
Many thanks!
