Using a Note 4, how can I copy an existing calendar event to a new event with a different date/time, while keeping the original event intact.

The only way I found is to make it a repeating event and choose " Daily", then enter the number of days until the next event. Then, I choose that date as the end of the repeat series. There may be an easier method, but I haven't found it.

I use the Calengoo app. With this one, you just drag and drop, choose "copy" to create a new independent event. Or "move" to move it. Or "cancel" if you change your mind.

I upgraded from an S3, where I was able to COPY an event, leaving the original in place. I am stunned that I cannot do that on the Note 4. Short of purchasing another app (Calengoo is $5.99), do anyone know how to do this simple function?

Why, why, why would they take away another feature I use ALL the time? This and being able to have a default reminder time were key to me. Ugh, ugh, ugh.
