I had a version of this type of specific Netflix app on one of my past phones (Evo 3D). Even though the 3D wasn't a 1080p phone, it still looked VERY crisp when compared to the standard Netflix app from the market. I'm sure this has been touched on somewhere, but is there a tablet optimized 1080p version of the app out there in apk form? It seems to me that there should be. I haven't tried downloading the same apk as I did with my Evo 3D, but I think if I can track it down I'll try.

Unfortunately I do not think there is a 1080p optimized netflix app. I have been unable to install the 720p app but I guess I don't really need it that bad because I have netflix on my bluray player.

I would love for them to release something like that though. Watching .MKV files on this thing is pretty sweet and the screen is very sharp.

I have a question, who supply the infinity pad display screen? I asure i would like to know cuz dammnit man this look clean azz ...

I know the Acer Iconia tab A700 got the officials Netflix on there so y not infinity pad?some one can APK from Acer tab A700 netflix file and transfer it...

+1 because as of now the Netflix app is a PoS on tablets. It lags so bad you can barely scroll thru anything, let alone pick something to watch.

Can anyone else confirm this? I thought it was just my tablet. I'm having some other lagging issues with certain games and websites, but when I opened up the netflix app and got about 5 frames per second just trying to scroll through my queue, I was about to give up on the infinity and exchange it. It was the last straw so to speak. Is it just that the netflix app is bad on tablets and is choppy for everyone?

BTW, when I can finally select a movie, it plays smoothly.

It's the app man just go into developer's options and force to 2d rendering and app with work. I see many people that performed hard reset to clear up any issues for things like browser etc.. Certain browsers from what i've seen and read kinda suck. I tried boat on recommendations and it's pretty fast for me. Many things aren't optimized to run on our screens right now either >.>
