wonder what I am doing wrong. I've tried downloading two separate files on my phone and I get the error message cannot open file. Anyone else?

To my knowledge, I have no previous versions of Netflix on the phone. Unless one came pre-installed, I've not installed anything.

I put up a link on post 4. Try that one. That's the one I have working.
Also make sure you have unkown sources check marked in settings.

It's because the app is not acting as if it's a .apk file once it's dowwnloaded to the phone for some reason. I had this same issue which is why I used the other posters uploaded file on page 2. That file downloaded and appeared on the phone as a .apk which is a file format the phone uses and understands.

I was having the exact same issues and had to use the older version. The link on post #4 is working perfectly for me now with full rotation. Thank you guys for the help.

I just tried link in post#4 and it worked perfect. The video quality was sweet. Auto rotate worked great. No asking for update like the first one I had been using. Thanks for posting this Op.

seconding this. got it load, but it goes from the netflix screen while loading to a grey screen and a pop up message saying "Sorry, Netflix can't log you in right now." I can't even get a prompt for the login.
And I used the link in post 4 as well.
