My question, is it really going to matter on these phones small screens? If your on one of those plans you get 480p or 720p data quality cap, will this even allow it?

Reason I'm asking, you probably won't notice the difference on a small screen like a phone screen, wouldn't you use more data for no real benefit?

HDR refers to color range, not resolution. I don't know of I can tell between 720p and 1080p, but I can definitely see the difference with HDR.

But yeah, I've got this on my S9+ right now. Is something different with HDR on the Note 9?

I'll be curious to see for myself if it really is noticable on a small screen. HDR content is limited yet anyway IMO.
