Netflix?

My thunderbolt is experiencing problems, with the device check disabled it starts to want to stream but then returns to the menu, with the mod2 i get an error saying the app could not contact netflix.

funny you asked because i just got asked for the .apk by another member...
possible but have had mixed results... If i can post the .apk i will but until then here is a run down of what you have to do...

1) Download ES File Explorer (Or any other root file editor)
2) In ES File Explorer, go into Setting > Root Settings and enable both check boxes
3) Navigate to /system/ and copy/paste build.prop to /sdcard/ (just in case)
4) Open & edit /system/build.prop
5) Change the following lines to make your phone think it is an HTC G2:
--ro.product.model=charge (have also seen on some phones you have to put the actual model #)
--ro.product.manufacturer=samsung
6) Reboot the phone
7) Install the netflix apk (if you haven't already)

and you can skip using The "root explorer" and use the one pre installed on the phone if you want.

Has anyone actually gotten the app to work? The farthest I got was that it nearly streamed a video, but I got an error. =(
