Network and WiFi very slow

[AC Question]

In the last couple of days my Xperia z3 compact is giving a very very slow Internet speed both WiFi and network. I tried running antivirus, but nothing was found. My husbands identical phone on the same WiFi says 50mbps download speed and mine says 0.1mbps. Please help!

I was going to suggest a Wi-Fi Analyzer for Android but with .1mbps it would take a while to download. Have you tried rebooting your z3 into Safe mode? Here's a link with steps for your device: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28258
If the connection speeds are improved on your device in safe mode we can confirm the cause is not hardware-related.

Thanks for the reply. Just tried in safe mode. WiFi appears to still be very slow but the connecting using mobile Internet is ok
