Network Connection Issues

Hey guys,
I've currently got an iPhone 4 with AT&T in the Auburn, AL area. I'm sick of AT&T's service and 3G constantly dropping. I'm debating on switching to Tmobile and getting the G2 because of cheaper network plans and similar data speeds. My questions are does the G2 suffer from data loss problems or losing connection? Also I don't have HSPA+ in my area yet but Tmobile 3G. Will that be similar to AT&T 3G?

Thanks!:D

I'm gonna move this over to the carriers section. You'll have better luck getting your answer there.

I don't think I have ever experienced network level drops on tmobile in years. I'm sure you're feeling the AT&T saturation problems. I'd suggest you come over and signup and try tmobile out before you even cancel, the new customers can get a g2 free right now, and you'll have the buyers remorse time to return it if you don't like it. Tmobile has great customer service and the new "4G" network is freaking fast! I regularly see 3/1Mbps which is like having a cable modem in your pocket. Also there is a 5GB throttle but you don't get overcharged like Verizon and my speeds only drop to 1/1Mbps after that. I've never hit a single slow speed connection and calls are great. Recently I hit 15GB+ in a month and got dropped significantly to 50kbps, but even that's almost tolerable for the last few days of my billing cycle. ;)
