Network Error: Please check network connection and try again

Hi.

I'm running a S6Edge on Verizon, running Android Lollipop 5.1.1.

I get a "Network Error: Please check network connection and try again" error ALL THE TIME. I get it on Wi-Fi, I get it on 4G LTE, I get it when there is no network and I'm reading content locally. I have searched through these boards and I can't find an answer to my woes.

Hi B. Diddy - thanks for your help. I really appreciate it. I've been dealing with this for months.

(1) Advanced Calling is OFF.

(2) I went into Safe Mode and deleted a ton of apps (basically went down to only the things I use 3x+ times/week. I didn't get the error for about 12 hours with average use. It recently re-appeared. Any ideas?

Help would be appreciated.

When the message recently reappeared, were you still in Safe Mode? If so, then you know it's from either a system app or a preinstalled bloatware app.
