This certainly looks like the place to be for Android
I'm bowing out of my long term love affair with Nokia phones since 1993 having just bought an Android tablet and seen what it has to offer, I just didn't realize..
I now want to change my Lumia 800 for a Galaxy Note II.
Looking forward to getting some tips and advice and perhaps even giving some .

Welcome to Android Central. The Note II is am excellent choice is phone. The best to I have for this device is look into getting a Flygrip , Www.flygrip.com

Its a little expensive but you can use it over and over as you may eventually move on to a different device.

Welcome to Android and the forums! The Note 2 is a solid choice, almost got one myself, but got a really good deal on an S3. Flygrip isn't a bad idea, should make handling the device a little easier. Just so you realize, when surfing the Play store on either device, it filters apps that are device appropriate. You may see apps on one device but not the other, and that is due to compatibility issues, but most tablets and the Note 2 should rum mostly the same apps.
