Hi All

Got my Droid X2 Friday. Learning curve is/was steep from 12 yrs of BB. Have only had 3 spontaneous reboots that I know of and 3 or 4 total freezes where I had to pull the battery. I think I have the battery optimized where it will last for the majority of the day (Advanced Task Killer app, dimmed the screen the whole way, turned off all the pinging notifications, monitoring the data useage) but do you have any more tips?

Spent Friday night with some Droid users and they were jealous of the speed - it is amazingly fast.

Well, thanks for letting me join in your community!

welcome to android central! one thing i can tell you is to uninstall ATK. it could very well be the reason for your random reboots and freezes, as task killers tend to do more harm than good, believe it or not. read this article to learn more about them. (read this one too!) then be sure to hop over to the droid x2 forums and join in the discussion.

also wouldnt be a bad idea to check out the getting started guide in my signature since youre brand new to android
