New Android owner question...

The HTC One X is my first Android phone. Love it so far, but I have a question...

when on WIFI and it shows on my status bar it also shows the 4G on my status bar. Is this normal?

I was told that it is,with my old android phone the data connection disapeared once connected to wifi. But on at&t its different,using wifi doesntuse your monthly data limit but the data icon stays "lit" for voice connections. I dont know why cause my old phone had a voice connection without the icon,but o well,so long as it doesnt use my data lol.

He's right. But, when in doubt you can always just turn mobile network off when using wifi. Using juice defender you can customize settings so it does that automatically.

It always shows 4G. Will use mobile data though when sending MMS. So just email pics lol
