How can I prevent a new tab from opening when I go on the internet? After the recent update, everytime I go into the browser, instead of bringing up the page that I was on last, it opens up a new tab. Also, I am using stock browser, if that helps. Is there a way to disable this?

I don't use the stock browser, but have you looked at the settings for it? There should be control for the tabs and what opens where.

Yea, I looked in the settings, and theres nothing about the tabs and what opens. Don't know where this setting could be. I might just finally switch to another browser... Either Chrome or Dolphin

The problem is the default icon on your dock. My solution was to remove the (default browser) icon from the dock and replace it with the icon of your preferred browser, that way it will open up were you left off last time. The problem I'm having with that though is my theme has smaller icons for the dock icons icons and when I replace it with my browser icon it is larger than the others :(

Go into Settings>Application manager. Move over to all and then down to Internet. Clear Cache and Force Stop. Now back out of Settings and open your Browser and see if it goes to your Home page.

There is a setting in there that says "allow multiple tabs per app" you might make sure that is off? I am not completely sure that will fix the issue but it may be the culprit. If you are wanting it to not open links in a new tab I am not sure how to do that. :(
