I saw on the news this morning ( 4-16/a.m. ), that Walmart ® is going to start a service that copy's your DVD movies to your PC, tablet and smartphone; presumably higher end smartphones, such as BIONIC'S ®; 4G would obviously be required, recommended, and / or wise.
$ 2.00 will be the fee and bringing in your device and DVD ( s) is a given.
I'm hoping it's true and begins in a relatively soon time.
The price, quality and convenience is a seller for me vs a ' do it yourselfer ' .
Myself in AZ, anyone else hear of this in any other part of the Continent?

Why not RIP your on DVD's for free? It's just 1 more ways the studio's are trying to get more $:(

Yep, they're wrapping it in a layer of DRM too. Pretty good odds if you change phones or any playback device, you'll need to pay for this "service" again... and again.... and again.:p

Davie boy, its a forum. For Cell Phones!
Now ease up, get a glass of milk and do your homework!

thank god I've not had to do homework in a very, very long time. I do drink milk on occasion, however.

OK so can anybody enlighten us as to which program to accomplish this with? A link to a site? I would love to start my own collection but found it to be painfully long in the processing part.
