New Facebook + Evo + Push = fail?

See my chat, and messages always worked. However.. Comments and wall posts do not. I also read something on their Facebook claiming that push was not for those things. So again.. Could be something screwy going on.

Chat seems to work, and yeah no sound which kinda sucks and there is no option to change that

As for photos, comments, messages, etc... it doesn't seem to "push it"... I get messages and events every 30 minutes but everything else no notification at all

I don't really use Facebook enough to be sure if my notifications are actually push or if there is some type of a delay. However, this version of Facebook is the first one where notifications have actually worked at all. In previous versions for me, notifications were enabled but would never actually happen in the background. It wasn't until I went into the app that a bunch of them would actually load, so it's a minor victory if nothing else.

I dont know whats going on with you guys' phones but its working just fine on my evo... I get notified asap!

same here... all push. Maybe we have it set up differently?? On my actual fb account, I checked off all email notifications because getting them on fb is enough.

I NEVER got notifications from FB in the past. I am now getting them and seem to be pretty close to push.
I actually want to shut them off now because the notifications annoy me.

In my accounts and sync it only shows facebook for htc sense, and like yours it wont let me add a regular facebook account. And also like you I'm not seeing any push notifications.

I just did a quick test and confirmed that Wall posts definitely do not have push, at least on my device. I had someone write on my wall and after about 10 minutes I still don't have anything on my phone.

Hmm. It seams to be working fine on my EVO. Just so happened that I updated first thing yesterday morning, which was my birthday and my phone was buzzing all day with people posting birthday wishes to my wall. and it pushed messages that were posted to the pic I uploaded of my birthday cake from work. Seams to be working well for me.

Guess I spoke too soon. Worked great the first day after the update. now nothing. Not sure what happened.
