New Fascinates get Google by default, still have Bing?

Still trying to run down the particulars here, but if this guy is correct, we may have a pretty big change on our hands. Can anybody out there with a brand-new fascinate help out?

I can confirm, I just got mine this week and the Voice Search Works and it routes through google, not Bing.

Wow, this is something I can chew. Im getting mine tomorrow. If mine has Google Search ill be so happy lol. One less thing to have to do after I root.

I'm SO glad I saw this thread, I have the Bing widget and everything but when I click the Voice Search icon, it routes through Google! This is so exciting!!! I got mine last week.

Mind you, though, that the capacitive search button is routed through Bing. I took a screenshot for you guys though so you could see that the Voice Search does indeed route through Google. I'm so excited.

It will still have the Bing widget, but the Voice Search application will route through Google instead of Bing. You'll have to actually test the widget before you'll be able to tell.

OK. Slightly false alarm. Google Voice Search has been there the entire time. Just hard-reset to confirm.

iirc is an old one! it's as old as afaik and the like...

Just got mine yesterday. Google voice search is in the app drawer, however I still had to use LauncherPro to get the widget and side load the google search apk to get the soft key to search through google.

So far so good. I don't want to root until after froyo so this should hold me til' then.
