Same here also and it powers off if I reboot the system.

I'm stock rooted, and the update is available for me in Flemington, NJ.

So if I were to install the update, would all that would happen be that I just wouldn;t be rooted anymore? I only rooted to remove bloatware, nothing else. Can I install this and just go on my merry way?

its helped me with recording audio (still not amazing albeit), so i for one am glad that i did this update.

I turned off LTE using the app LTE onoff went to 3G and checked again and there it was waiting for me. Downloading now on 3G.

Didn't work for me.
In San Fernando Valley (So. CA) and get SERVICE UNAVAILABLE message on both 3g and 4g.

Considering what we are hearing about this being pretty much the same update that was leaked, does this patch any holes used to root the phone at all?

Look for update.zip file. It may be on the SD card in no folders, or may be in a folder titled cache either on the SD or on the phone. Use a file explorer program like super manager or root explorer and use the search function to look for "update"

The orginal update was only 22.28 MB in size, while the one I received is 35.649 MB. What was added? See below from VZ support page...

Just downloaded the update over 4g in NYC , took about 2 min to download . No issues what so ever . Installed and checking it out now .

Adrynalyne. How do you install the update on the phone with the contents of the OTAPkg.zip?

Whenever I go to check updates (did it last week too) my phone just says looking for service, try again. It never says "No updates available" or whatever. Just a service error.
