New Firmware Pushed This Morning

Thanks for posting the direct download link. I'm a relative noob so forgive me for asking .... I assume I rename the file "update.zip" and drop it in the root of the sd card then reboot?

No... I'm NOT ROOTED anymore.... darn... I guess I've got some work to do tonight.

I'm in Los Angeles. Not that location matters from what I've read on these updates...

But mine says:

Error

SERVICE UNAVAILABLE
Check for Software Update under
Settings when service is available

My update screen has said this for weeks now. It used to say "No update available..." when I first got the phone but now it just says the above message when I try to manually update. Anyone know what's up with this message?

I have the EXACT same issue. I am in Orange County, Ca. My son's Thunderbolt has the same issue. :'(

HELP!

Restore

If you're rooted and/or have Rom Manager, don't run the update, you'll get the exclamation and the Android. If you pull the battery and reboot you'll go back into the same loop.

I was attempting to grab the update for devs but evidently missed the defer button. I had to restore from previous backup in recovery.

So if we are missing bloatware due to root..if we het an update notification can we update? What will happen if we update using the extracted update posted?

Ok, I'm starting the whole process over now. My phone is back to factory reset and I'm downloading the update now.

Orlando area here. Update showed up at top along with some app update notifications. Clicked and running it now. I sure hope they fixed the video/audio rec quality. I didnt see any mention of it in their release notes. *Crossing fingers*
