after a few days agonising between iphone & S3 i chose the S3. Day 2 with the S3. first - what a crap place to put the on/off switch! phone keeps switching on in my pocket! Guess i'll have to get a case. Second - the volume switch is also badly situated - far too easy to knock volume back to zero even in the case i've now got!.. So far, not so good, but other functionality is ok & i'm hoping this isn't the first mail of many, though i'm still in the phone "take back" period...
but how do i assign a ring tone to a contact? I've done this:
music player
select tune (MP3)
menu/ set as/caller ringtone
but it then displays my gmail contacts and not my phone contacts...
