Kingo a one root click software for the g2 and other android device's has spyware. Reading a post from XDA it scans and gets your imei #. This can be dangerous because they can clone and hack your account..

Given the level of access required to root, would not any assisted rooting open up the possibility for foul play?

I have a G2 whose hardware I'm happy to leave alone, but looking to get Superuser status on.
