New Mi A2 screen time out issues

Hiya. New Mi a2. Updated to Pi out of the box. No matter what I set the time out to, the screen time outs at 30 seconds. Any way to fix without a factory reset?

Any power-saving modes turned on? Also, are you certain it's the screen timeout you're adjusting, or could it be the Automatically Lock setting (i.e., then time it takes from when the screen goes to sleep to when the phone locks)?
