New Moto G or Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (4.7)?

I waited until the release of the Moto G (2015) to replace my S4 mini.

I prefer smaller phones (Alcatel wins) but would like to get it as close to stock Android as possible and with guaranteed updates (Moto wins).

Any other area where the Moto G would win hands down or fare significantly worse?

Well first of all make sure you can bet both on your carrier. The idol 3 has a 5/13 mp camera. It has 16 gb memory with sd card availability. The battery is only 2000mah.

The moto 3 2015 has a 5/13 mp camera. 1 or 2 gb of ram and 8 or 16 by of memory with sd card available. A snap dragon 410 processor as well. The battery is 2470 mah.

carrier is no problem for me since I leave in Europe ... so, unlocked it is and pay as you go ...
