New Nexus 4 purchase: Anyone get a shipping notification or tracking number?

If it doesn't ship by Saturday your order will be placed on back-order. From a Google rep I spoke to about 10 minutes ago. I'm in the same boat.

I'm very pleased with Google and UPS at this point.

I ordered my phone at 11:33.07 ET. Just a 16Gb phone. No CC problems or duplicate issues.

Yet others who ordered after me will get their phone and I will have to wait three weeks. I think. Because I've received NO communication from Google whatsoever beyond the order confirmation. And CSRs will tell you something different every time you call.

So someone tell me how this is acceptable e-commerce fulfillment?

In Canada (Toronto) here, received my UPS tracking information from Google @ 6:05pm.
Ordered a 16GB Nexus 4 and 16GB Nexus 7 @ 11:47:35 AM EST on Tuesday.

I'm in same boat and I think next update chance for us is tomorrow morning by 5am EST and a shipping notification, if not, then expect the "in 3 weeks" email at some point tomorrow.

I got an email straight from google that said "good news, your order has shipped!" with a tracking number further down.

No confirmation email, card was charged, pending in wallet
2am MST today, shipping email, shows as complete in wallet
4:20pm MST UPS shows will deliver tomorrow

It seems to me that it's directly related to the time of order.. So far everyone that ordered before 8:55 am PST/ 9:55 am MST/ 10:55 CST/ 11:55 EST hasn't received a back order email yet. And anything above that has... I ordered at 8:33 AM PST and live in Cali and have not received a back order email yet..

I ordered at 10:05AM MST and its scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

For those that ordered multiple phones on separate orders (I ordered two accidentally) did you receive multiple backordered emails? I ordered 1 about 10 minutes after the sale started, then another about an hour later. I got 1 backorder email today, and nothing else. So I don't know if both are backordered or one is still in limbo. Does the backorder email cover both orders?

Never got the confirmation email but my card was charged and it showed in the Wallet as pending. Called google around midnight on the 14th to check in. CSR said it went through. About 2:04 am MST received shipping confirmation and after 4pm MST tracking information showed it would ship tomorrow.

I guess the whole thing I don't get about the Google order process, is WHY are people with Order#'s after people's getting theirs? That makes ZERO sense. I can tell their Order#'s are sequential as to when you ordered them because all 4 (yes 4!) that I supposedly ordered have the same 20digit#, but the last 2 numbers and their sequential. So, if your Order# 1000, then why are order#'s after getting theirs? They should fullfill the orders as they come in by their Order#. Order#1, #2, etc. till they are sold out.
Am I missing something here??? Shouldn't make where your located/how many you ordered/8GB/16GB/etc... You fullfill the orders as they come in..

Yep, it was on its way to Phoenix and now it is there. Safely out of Louisville where the natives were getting ready to storm the UPS compound lol.

i just called a nexus rep because i have yet to receive the back order or shipment conformation and he told me that my order was "good to go" that UPS most likely already has it but they are so overwhelmed that UPS has not sent them the conformation so they can let me know whats going on. im more confused than i was before i called them. how does that happen. i ordered mines at 11:42 EST a Nexus 4 16GB and a bumper case

Same here bro... I ordered 11:46EST.. 16GB and no bumper. I got off the phone with a rep about 10mins ago and couldn't say "yes" or "no". "Just wait and see by tomorrow if you get a shipment email". Downright piss poor job
