Wow....Google is such a joke. Order 4 hours after most of us and get it before us. FMLgot my shipping email today at 4:30 am. was in limbo status before this. i ordered a 8gb at around 1:30pm est.

I am someone who got the backorder email, and today my order date changed to the 17th.
I also had a separate order that was shipped yesterday morning.
That's the EXACT SAME situation i'm in! They just keep telling me that it will be shipped the next day. I'm on hold with Google right now, hopefully they don't inform me that i've been put on backorder, but it's looking likely now. I just noticed that if you hover over the date on the Account Order page in the Play store it says "When your order was last updated"
Ok so what was updated?! Nothing else about my order seems to have changed or been 'updated' :-\

I received an e-mail earlier in the week that semi-confirms this. They said all orders that aren't shipped by Nov. 17 will be considered backordered. And also she said that as i am one of the earliest person to Order ,I will not get a backorder. She also blamed banks which seems to be true because as lot of orders came in so fast in beginning they might have put all those transactions in hold.Ok just spoke with a CSR they said the date is nov17 because they are processing it again so that they can ship.
