It will cost $50 to replace the battery locally or pay $170 for a supposed "New" Nexus 5 from a highly rated eBay seller. What are your thoughts. My Nexus 4 is 3 years old and has been great. Do you think it's worth the upgrade?

Personally I would get the Nexus 6 for $250 on amazon. But given the choices you gave, I'd go for the Nexus 5. I had the 4 and 5, and the 5 is noticeably faster and will be more future proof.

I am leaning towards buying a certified refurbished from a USA seller on Amazon for $159. What is the consensus as to the best version of Android to use kit kat, Lollipop or Marshmallow?
