New Note 10.1 coming anytime this year?

As an upgrade? No. It goes against the Apple Mini. I have both the Note 8 and 10.1. They do the same and excel where size may be an issue.

They've been pretty mum on this topic (as they are with several things). I was hoping for something new (not an ATIV Q) for this school year coming up. I hope the 8.0 wasn't seen as an "upgrade." I suppose my GN10.1 can hold up a bit longer.

No flame intended but I had to laugh when I read the last sentence - it makes it sound like the GN 10.1 is ancient. US release was just over a year ago. Oh well, maybe you've worn yours out taking notes in class...JK.

I'm REALLY hoping, that the next iteration will have an AMOLED display. I have the note 2014:10.1, and. Although the wqxga display has an excellent resolution, it also has a dismal battery performance. LCD displays, are battery killers.

I don't understand why stylus technology isn't something Google couldn't invest in creating a native interface for ... If they can snatch up some startup or SB then they can corner the niche market and avoid Sammy altogether and eventually create a native Google device marketed by Motorola or start an Open Hardware project or kick starter even for those adventurous types, to make your own android phone similar to how Dell did the "Dude you're getting a Dell" ... Maybe a "Man you're getting a Moto" ... I was hoping by now we'd have a "build your own" option including hardware CPU ram etc ... If its open hardware specs then it makes updates easy and I think we see from this thread there's a market out there for folks who want the "their own specs".
