New OTA impact thread - please report in

My Verizon finally works on my TB!
Got a cool new data usage widget.
Also saw the new 3G icon. I still have my hotspot icon though. I thought out was gone bit the short cut was just deleted. The icon image is different.
Download took about 15 minutes on 3G (probably due to demand - ya think?)
Do far do good. Obviously to early to tell about the battery, I do have the extended one though.

I set the GPS warning to not show but it pops up every time I enable GPS. Stupid. Also my GPS status app shows the satellites all dropping out every few seconds. Never had that happen before my GPS was never a problem.
Anyone see this tabbed apps thing? no joy on mine same as always and didn't notice a change in call history view. Not happy about the GPS warnings at all.

SMS sending seems much more reliable. I used to have to constantly go in and out of airplane mode to push out in low-signal areas, but that appears to have been remedied.

On reboot ( i rebooted my self don't worry ;) ) The thunder storm clouds disappear and you are left with a black screen with the 'thunderbolt' logo instead of the clouds frozen while the phone finishes loading. Looks more professional in my opinion.

No change in app drawer..tabbed? No change in call history....no new york times bookmark although i could care less about that.....just want reboots and shut offs to stop....we will see on that one

New boot screen, GPS lock damn quick and I was in my house by a window. So far no reboots, although it seems to take a little longer to boot.

Please post regarding your experience with the following items after the update:
- Initial impressions
- Reboots
- Reliable data connection
- Battery life
- New issues
- New features

We are aware that Verizon is adding bloat. Let's try not to repeat ourselves regarding that point.

Battery life? After 20 minutes, it's hard to say.

Added Verizon contact numbers to Sim card in that now show in your contact list. Which by default show up at top of your contact list. So now you get double #bal / #data and they DO NOT hide even if you have your viewing options set to not show Sim to show and from what I can tell you can't delete or hide them at all.

Using CurrentWidget, I've noticed my current usage is much, much higher when in use. Used to be around 200-400mA with just the screen on looking at the widget and refreshing. Now I'm at 500-700mA. That's bad news for battery life, if it continues. :(

BTW, I still idle around 36-38mA.

THAT sounds like some of the best news I've heard so far (SMS). Let's hope you're not seeing something that's unrelated to the update ....

Just delete the ones not on the Sim card...no more doubles.
