New Phone? Really?

My NOTIFICATIONS volume, in SETTINGS>SOUND>VOLUMES, sporatically sets to no sound / slider all the way to the left.
I cannot seem to figure what situation or app would do this.
Missed texts are not the end of the world, just really irritating.
 
I too am having the same issues, at least now I know what all this b.s. is called! KitKat.....what does that even mean? I also had contacts lost...phone is like dialup.. Lost pictures THAT I CANNOT RECAPTURE, AMONGST A LOT OF OTHER THINGS. Just typing this is taking forever. There is NOTHING THAT IS AN IMPROVEMENT... NOTHING! I have been trying for days to get a hold of Verizon however they sure go out of their way NOT TO GIVE A PHONE # MUCH LESS ANY TYPE OF HUMAN CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT SUCKS AND I WANT TO GO BACK TO HOW MY PHONE WAS BEFORE.

TROLL

It's like Motorola / Verizon knew KitKat was a flop to push users into new phones.

WiFi ruined
Sound pops
Bluetooth spotty.
Battery life horrible.

Wiped cache partition
Factory reset completed

All still broken - makes you wonder....

Better late than never! I have tried calling... I get tossed to Motorola and they tell me there's nothing they can do. I never got a link to upgrade or help my phone. Verizon Customer Service is useless. They patch me through to voicemail and I get nowhere. Extremely frustrating when this is your only phone and now the battery is burning up. Making a payment and switching carriers.

Or you can just get a new phone. Instead of putting all the blame on everyone else, focus on what really is the issue and that is the phone right? So get a new one, no biggie.
 
Calling someone a troll is a form of trolling in itself. If you don't like a post, move on. Let's keep it on track : )
 
Anyway to get rid of KitKat? Verizon stores(3),_r no help... I don't know how to back up my contacts without losing them.,.already lost contact pics...battery gets very hot and drains like a sink. Any helpful suggests? Thanks!

I DID get a new phone.... (This is to whoever replied stop whining and get a new phone),,you must b a Verizon Customer Support person. This was not meant towards you...I was merely asking for help and venting like everyone else. You can purchase the new phone for me.. Just like customer support in the stores....very sensitive.. Geeez

This is typical anymore on here... Which is sad. You say for me to stop blaming others for what's wrong with my phone? I didn't create my phone or the programs. You don't know me as I don't know you. But to write what you did and just now seeing it....you are a fool. Android central has become a joke and certainly don't need people like you posting comments like that about me. YEs...it is the damn phone. But Nevermind...... I'm not going to be using this anymore. But I am making note of who you are. Should have thought that one through first.

We understand your frustration. As stated there is no way to roll back to an earlier version of OS (operating system) unless you are willing to root your device. I apologize if your are getting negative comments from people in the forums and the best way to approach that is to report any posts you feel is aimed at you or that needs moderator attention.
