new phone under warranty has a single dead pixel, should i return?

the pixel is dead i tried to fix it with an app but it didnt help. my phones still under warranty but its only one pixel. sony doesnt replace screens unless its 5 or more dead pixels (i think, it definitely doesnt replace for just one) but i bought the phone from giffgaff and their warranty might cover it.

im going to ask giffgaff, they might say no, if they do i can just send it back as not wanted, so should i? will it spread? is it bad enough that you, yourself, would send it back and get a new one?

Phones are an investment. I would absolutely get it replaced. You are correct, I don't believe Sony will replace for just 1 pixel. Are you still within a 14/30 day return window? If so, you can certainly claim that. Or, work with Giffgaff directly on the issue. But, I wouldn't let it slide unless no one is willing to help you out replacing the device.
